Event Planning and Production
As Founder and Director of the EastSide Food Festival in Los Angeles with over 15 years of experience in corporate, private and public event production, I have proven my discerning expertise in designing, arranging and managing every detail of various types of events such as festivals, concerts, culinary experiences, and more. I continually work to be exceptional in handling multiple aspects of Event Planning and Production such as researching venues, budget management, contract negotiation, staffing and staff training, marketing, brand relations, event promotion, and outcome reporting.
Experiential Marketing and Brand Relations
With a history of experience on both the brand side at Levi Strauss & Co and the event side including EastSide Food Festival and more, I am well-versed in identifying market trends and client needs to create highly-targeted marketing initiatives. Corporate or independent – it takes an understanding of both to develop and maintain great creative partnerships and designing unique consumer experiences. The orchestration of strategic marketing relationships with agencies, vendors, brands and other partners has been key in my understanding of the importance of these core relationships.
Creative Project Management
Management of client and partner relationships, budgets, permitting, sponsorship procurement, contract negotiation and more – I am a solution-oriented strategist who thrives in challenging, fast paced environments with solid organizational, leadership and decision-making skills that can make an immediate contribution to any project. Pride in teamwork, communication abilities, creativity, time management, and computer competencies.
Getting the word out to the right crowd is key. With over 15 years of experience in various veins of promotion in the music and culinary industries, I maintain growing databases of active clientele as well as create strategic plans to consistently reach more audiences. I take pride in my ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with media partners and other promotional outlets.
Culinary Arts and Catering
I am a trained chef and owner of Castle Gourmet Dining Catering company with over 5 years of food production experience working in various types from restaurants, event catering, private dining, pop-up dinner events, and more specializing in health supportive cooking with a focus in vegan and vegetarian fine dining. My passion for food in combination with my solid history of large scale event planning, production and promotion lead to a culmination of both in the the creation of EastSide Food Festival in 2014 where I not only participate as one of the many food vendors, but am the Principal Festival Director.
