Smorgasburg is a weekly food festival style market based out of New York, and launched in DTLA in 2016, hosting thousands of attendees every Sunday. EastSide Food Festival – Principal Festival Director

Los Angeles, CA. Launched this highly successful and only independently run food festival in Los Angeles in 2014 at Mack Sennett Studios in Silverlake. Festival features over 30 food, beverage and retail vendors with 1000+ people in attendance. Manage the execution of all aspects of the festival’s production, including but not limited to: securing high profile restaurant vendors, curating celebrity appearances, securing and managing brand sponsorships and partners, hiring and managing staff, organizing onsite production execution and more. Partnered with PATH Non-Profit Organization to raise funds for helping the homeless. Blow Up LA Events – Owner, Event Production and Promotions

Los Angeles, CA. Event Planning, Production & Promotions. Highly successful and respected events company in Los Angeles catering to target market audience of hip young tastemakers bridging the gap between LA subculture and popular events. Responsibilities included securing venues, booking talent, staffing event, managing budget, accounting, marketing, promotions, and more. Primary monthly event attracted 1k+ in attendance on a regular basis with an audience that spanned beyond the boundaries of Los Angeles, and gained nationwide attention.

LA MyOpenBar.com – Los Angeles Account Manager

Los Angeles, CA. Personally launched event listing website LA.Myopenbar.com. Website was founded in NYC (as Myopenbar.com) in August of 2005. Hired to effectively launch the Los Angeles based operation. Managed staff of writers, coordinated data for event listings and weekly subscriber email blast. Managed accounts with advertisers and marketing partners.

PrinceHouse Records – Independent Record Label Proprietor

San Francisco, CA. National independent record label. Developed and implemented strategic business and marketing plan for the label demonstrated in press hits, radio play, industry feedback, and record sales in a pre-digital music industry world. Insightful talent scouting, product sourcing, relationship building and artist development. Budgeted limited funds to produce multiple outcomes. Demonstrated excellent knowledge of the music industry including artists management and touring.

Refused TV – Associate Broadcast Producer, Video Production Assistant

Los Angeles, CA. Regional music video TV show in Southern California and Music Video Production House. Helped to manage a roster of music video directors, Production Assistant for music video productions, Account Manager to advertisers, Talent Coordinator for TV show hosts and promo spots, point person for labels, band managers, publicists, etc. Implemented a previously non-existing marketing strategy, produced Refused TV events and parties. Acted as on camera talent and host conducting interviews with bands for promo. Curated music video library for broadcast.

Levi Strauss & Co – Marketing Coordinator, Brand Ambassador, Product Placement

San Francisco, CA. Marketing coordinator for the popular Levi brand in sponsorships, events and product placement in music & TV. Valued point person and key relationship for a large portion of music industry partnerships. Managed and assisted with the execution of successful marketing projects and events. Helped build bridge between Levi’s brand and the fashion forward music community. Projects include assisting to launch the now massive Levi Fader Fort in Austin for SXSW, Levi Fader Fort in NYC for CMJ, MTV VMAs celebrity gifting lounges, and more.
